Help get rid of computer nasties! (Viruses, Trojans, Spyware etc.)?
I need help. One day i downloaded a game file for one of my pc games. It then opened up to be some sort of spymaster 200 or something like that. It scanned y computer and said i had 88 different types of viruses, trojans etc. Some where cookies so i deleted all my cookies and when i opened this spymaster program that i never installed before, it said i had 44. Later, i tried thinking of ways to get rid of my problem, and it said that either a trojan or virus was blocking my acces to my computer. this was true because i couldn't get to my C drive in my computer. So I gave up, because Mcafee wasn't up to date, and i have no money to buy a update. So i did a system recovery and literally wiped out my entire hard rive, like brand new. now i don't have problems
But my question is, do i still have those nasties? because i did research and it said that that doesnt work 100%
